We're doing this whole "clean the ENTIRE house ALL summer long" thing and when we cleaned the office, i found a poem that I supposedly wrote. Even though I don't remember it AT all.... i kinda like it!! For your reading pleasure, here is Life, by Christie Fox:
One day I went to school,
And hoped that I would be
Someone worth looking at,
Instead of just me.
But when I got home that day,
I was suprised to find
That all my dreams had come true
And it wasn't just in my mind.
I looked out the window
To see if it was real,
But everything was normal.
Nothing was surreal.
I saw my dreams captured
In someone else's heart.
Then I realized,
That I was a work of art.
I think I need to change the title though. Maybe I'll call it My Own Masterpiece... I like that. maybe during the summer, I'll turn it into a song during my freetime... sounds like fun!! well, i think i need to go to bed. btw... i'm lost 17!!!! legal curfew is almost gone!!! yay!!!
